NLSA is proud to showcase a new retail concept for the world-renowned luxury fashion brand Temperley London. In close collaboration with the founder and creative powerhouse, Alice Temperley MBE who founded her eponymous fashion label Temperley London in 2000, NLSA has developed a timeless yet contemporary interior that mixes a bohemian flair for colour and pattern with the elegance and tradition of a country house. The new UK flagship occupies over 300 sqm of enviable retail space in the heart of Chelsea close to the prestigious Sloane Square.
The front window has been transformed with a bespoke Temperley print awning and hand-crafted joinery creating generous box frames. Finished in brass, antique mirror and hand-painted gloss black paint the frames focus the eye of the passerby and hint at the mystical offerings that lie beyond.
Once inside the store the customer journey has been engineered to guide visitors first around an impressive open plan area that has the feel of a grand reception hall where customers can browse a collection of shimmering dresses displayed on unique square section brass rails that, by being solely supported by concealed wall fixings, give the impression that the dresses are floating above the floor. A carefully curated collection of artwork and imagery encapsulates the brand story and continues the journey into a welcoming, more intimate, and colourful dressing area.
As we continue downstairs a dedicated personal shopping and bridal department are united by central sumptuous sofas, a focal bar offering refreshments and a glittering 1m in diameter vintage Italian chandelier.
